Samsung has announced the launch date and time for its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy F14 5G, which took place on Friday. The company revealed the device's specifications a few days prior to the launch and gave a hint about its price range.

Samsung has stated that the Galaxy F14 5G phone will feature a large battery, a sizable display, extended software support, and various other specifications.

Samsung has confirmed that the new budget phone, the Galaxy F14 5G, is powered by its own 5nm Exynos 1330 chipset, which is also being used to power the recently launched Galaxy M14 smartphone in select global regions.

The Samsung Galaxy F14 5G will offer a RAM extension option and will run on the company's OneUI 5.0 custom skin, which is based on the Android 13 operating system.

The Note 12 4G has an IP53 rating and features a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric authentication.

Beneath the surface, the Redmi Note 12 4G packs a Snapdragon 685 processor coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS2.2 storage, which can be expanded by up to 1TB using a micro-SD card. The device runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 and draws power from a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

In terms of optics, the Redmi Note 12 4G features a triple camera arrangement on the rear, including a 50MP primary (Samsung JN1, f/1.8) wide, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. A 13MP front-facing camera handles selfies.
